EU-US DPF, UK Extension to the EU-US DPF and Swiss-US DPF


Harper Global participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles, and the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF We are committed to subjecting all personal data received from European Union (EU) member countries, the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar) and Switzerland, respectively, in reliance on each Data Privacy Framework Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement and Liability. If there is any conflict between the policies in this privacy policy and the DPF Principles, the DPF Principles shall govern. Harper Global is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives, under each Data Privacy Framework Principle, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Harper Global complies with the DPF for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, UK and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions.


With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Data Privacy Frameworks, Harper Global is subject to the regulatory enforcement authority of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.


In compliance with the EU-US DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF and the Swiss-US DPF, Harper Global commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information. In compliance with the EU-US DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF and the Swiss-US DPF, Haper Global commits to refer unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the EU-US DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF and the Swiss-US DPF to Insights Association, an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the United States. Harper Global is a qualitative market research company based in the United States that conducts research worldwide. Qualitative research is conducted with a very small number of respondents, either in groups or individually and is used to gather initial respondent needs and obtain in-depth reactions to ideas and concepts. Harper Global conducts market research for a variety of pharmaceutical and health care related companies.


Harper Global is committed to the protection of personal and consumer data as modeled in its detailed privacy program and comprehensive security initiatives.

At the completion of a market research study, individual information is "desensitized" and reported in an aggregated form for market research analysis. Third party companies utilized by Harper Global must follow and adhere to the same privacy and security measures set forth by Harper Global to ensure privacy and security of information at all times. Client and business contacts may choose to contact Harper Global via email for additional information. Harper Global will use this information to contact you about the services that you have expressed an interest. Clients and business contact may also receive service related information or product/profile updates as they apply to business development opportunities at Harper Global. Please note: Harper Global does have first party cookies on its website, this is in place to track the number of hits to the web site and does not collect any other information.
